Rab Expedition 1000 Sleeping Bag: -22 Degree Down
Unless you're planning on spending the night at 20,000 feet in the Himalayas or on Denali, the Rab Expedition 1000 -22 Degree Down Sleeping Bag is warm enough to keep you from waking up as a popsicle. While not quite as warm as the Expedition 1200 and 1400, the 1000 is nearly a pound lighter than the latter, and uses the same 850-fill hydrophobic European goose down and sandwich of water-resistant Pertex Endurance/Microlight fabrics to keep you toasty and dry. It also uses the same longitudinal baffle design, with Flowgate technology in the torso to keep the down from shifting and an angled footbox for comfort and consistent insulation. You're only as warm as the air that your bag can trap, so Rab designed the Expedition with close-fitting neck and face baffles, along with a collar and drawcord hood, to prevent heat leaking out, and gave it a roomy design to be compatible with down clothing at basecamp. If that's not enough, it also features a zippered internal pocket for storage, and a drybag compression sack so you can carry your bag easily and safely.

Three Season Sleeping Bags Checklist
||Down vs. Synthetic. The
age-old question. Down bags pack down tighter and are a few ounces
lighter. On the negative side, they are useless when wet, often take
forever to dry (and many can't be tossed into a dryer), and tend
to be more expensive.
||Heading Out in Wet Weather? Then
get a synthetic sleeping bag...period. This way, if your bag gets
wet, you won't have a useless sleeping bag for the rest of your trip.
||Float Camping? Again...get
a synthetic bag. Be a bummer to have your bag end up in the water
and become useless for the rest of your float trip.
||Where Ounces and Packability Matter. Then
go with a goose down bag. This is especially true if you are a bike
camper, climber or camp in the desert.

|Teton Pass Ski Area : Teton Pass is a ski area seldom seen by people from outside of Montana, as it is located along the Rocky Mountain Front, near the town of Choteau. If you enjoy skiing at ski areas "the way they used to bel" then Teton Pass might be for you.|
|Swiftcurrent Lake : Swiftcurrent Lake lies in the exceptionally scenic Many Glacier Valley. The water is crystal clear and remains cool all summer long. Unlike most other lakes in Glacier, Swifturrent Lake receives fairly heavy use due to having a hotel on its shore and its smaller size.|
