Three large multipanel windows have a zippered cover, a clear-vinyl window that zips out of the way, and a mesh screen for added ventilation. Storm flap covers the stove jack and rolls down to avoid contact with the stove pipe so it wont melt the material. 13-ft. x 27-ft. tent has the most interior space in the Alaknak series, making it perfect for a large party of hunters or base camp. Rugged, waterproof 250-denier polyester-oxford X-Treme Tent Cloth has a high tear strength and resists punctures for lasting reliability. 10 perimeter tent poles keep the sidewalls from blowing in and add rigidity in high winds, so you can camp comfortably knowing youre protected. Heavy-duty No. 10 YKK zippers and inverted T-style door makes entering and exiting easy. Plus, the T-style door is backed by a screen door so you can let cool breezes in while keeping bugs out. Attached awning boasts a frame that comes down from the peak of the tent and directs runoff away from the door for superior protection in the wettest weather. Sidewalls have unique fold-down shelves that sport cup holders to eliminate spilled beverages and gear pockets to hold gear. Floor has a zip-open panel for safe placement and stove use. Tent sets up quickly and easily. Includes 12 steel stakes, guy ropes and a large zip-close storage

Cots Checklist

Cot Pad or Airbed on Top? Good's and bad's to each. Cot pads are easier to setup (just roll them out), but are bulkier and heavier. Airbeds have to be inflated, but take little room when packed and are light. I vote for the cot pad, myself.
Any Accessories? Some cots have a myriad of accessories available. Do you need them? Who knows...but it's something to think about.
Why Do I Need a Cot Pad or Airbed? Warmth and Comfort! Both insulate the sleeper from the cold air below the cot. And both add extra softness for a good night's sleep.
How Long? Better to have a cot that is a "touch to long" than a "touch to short."
Does Weight Matter? Unless your packing your cot into the wilderness by horse, weight probably isn't an issue. But, if it does matter, read each cots specs carefully...some of them can be quite heavy (over 30 pounds).
Weight Capacity. Check the weight capacity of the cot. Some cots can be a bit "wimpy" in how much weight they can safely and comfortably hold.
