Lamar Valley in Yellowstone National Park. The Lamar Valley is one of the most beautiful places in Yellowstone National Park. This massive valley, which is home to a significant population of bison, also managed to escape the worst of the Yellowstone Fires of 1988. The Lamar River flows through this valley, which can faintly be seen along the edge of the first mound of small hills.
