The low clouds seen in this picture were kind of "cool", in
a way. It kept rolling in and then rolling away from the Sun Road, providing
moments of clarity soon followed by moments of pure "fogginess".
In this photo, you can see the fog as it approaches, covering up the
lower elevation trees. About 30 seconds after I took this photo, I too
was swallowed up by it. This particular photo was taken about halfway
up the Going to the Sun Road on the west side of Glacier
National Park.
It looks north towards the Upper McDonald Creek Valley.
