This photo looks up towards Mt. Cannon, as seen from about midway up the Avalanche Lake Trail, on the way towards Avalanche Lake. During the spring, especially following a heavy snow year, Mt. Cannon can really let go with some huge avalanches - making for a very unforgettable sight and sound.
