The burn area seen on the Logging Lake Hiking Trail ends abruptly in spots. In this photo, you can see the hillside in the background that was completely burned over by a hot, fast moving canopy fire. This opening is one of the few views one gets when hiking in the unburned portion of the hiking trail, too.
