This is Lake Josephine as seen from the Grinnell Glacier Trail. The trail follows the shoreline of Lake Josephine along the lakes northern shore for most of its length. From there, the Grinnell Glacier Trail begins a steady ascent upward. This nice view is what you get when you take the time to look behind.
