Remains of an Old Corral

This is the remains of what appears to be either a small corral or an outbuilding of some kind. And it is very, very old. This picture, which was taken just a mile or so to the south of the Missouri River, does a nice job of highlighting some of the massive plains that are found in this area. Generally, the plains are thinly forested - at best. But, the plains are surrounded by steep draws and gullies that tend to be quite wooded. In this picture, the trees you see off to the right lead down a gully that makes its way down to the Missouri River.
