Not too many years ago, the area around the train station in Whitefish was sort of a mini-wasteland. Things changed during the mid 1990's, during a restoration project. A new library and cultural arts center was created, and this very nice park was made. During good weather, Depot Park becomes a very popular place for locals and tourists alike.
