Montana Aerial Photographs

This aerial photograph shows the Big Mountain Ski Resort, located just north of Whitefish. Unfortunately, the aerial was taken during the summer months, making it a bit difficult to get the best view of the ski runs and such.

But, if you look closely, you can see the main runs and even the paths the chairlifts follow up the mountain. The white part in the photo is the base area of Big Mountain - in particular, its actually all the parking lots that are there (the parkings lots of gravel).

The summit of Big Mountain is a bit tough to see in this aerial photos, as it occurs right on a seam (several aerial photographs were stitched together to create this image).
