| The National Bison Range consists of a number of climate zones and vegetation. However, the bulk of the vegetation consists of grass - just like this. Small mountains and/or large hills are generall lacking in vegetation other than grass. Which, of course, makes this a perfect place for a Buffalo refuge! |
