This picture looks up towards the top of the Challenger Double Chair at Big Sky Resort. As you can see, there is some great expert skiing found below the chairlift. A great combination of glade skiing, open terrain skiing and chute skiing can all be found off of the Challenger chair. Normally, there wouldn't be all these bare spots on the mountain - but as this photo was taken in late March in a very low snow year that had very warm temperatures, south facing slopes were developing some bare spots earlier than normal. |
