The "South Face" of Lone Peak at Big Sky

This is the "South Face" off of Lone Peak at Big Sky Resort. The "South Face" provides for a great combination of open terrain and chute skiing - all of which is very steep. During good snow conditions, though, some of the best skiing at Big Sky can be found off the "South Face." This terrain can only be accessed by taking the Lone Peak Tram to the summit - unless you feel like making the 2000 vertical foot climb up by foot.
